Marking our fourth consecutive year participating in Kiaf SEOUL, we are pleased to present a duo booth bringing together Ziping Wang and Claudia Keep — two painters whose practices took shape at Château La Coste in Provence, and who look at the world from opposite ends: one painting the overload of images we live in, the other the fleeting moments we miss.

Ziping Wang presents a series of watercolours first exhibited in 'Chromatic Crumble!', her immersive exhibition at Château La Coste's Richard Rogers gallery (2025–26). Known for densely layered compositions of food packaging, cartoon fragments, and borrowed passages from art history, Wang's latest watercolour series upends this rhythym, finding solace in the shifting Menorcan and Aix-en-Provence landscapes that inspired these fluid works on paper.

Claudia Keep paints from photographs taken on her phone — a moth at a lit window, a swimmer, headlights on a wet road. Small, quick paintings of things that would otherwise go unnoticed. The works at Kiaf come from the same body of work recently celebrated in 'Waggle Dance', her solo exhibition at Château La Coste, titled after the dance by which bees share the location of what they have found — a fitting image for paintings that quietly point us toward what deserves to be seen.

Made in and around the same vineyard in the South of France, the two bodies of work share a palette, season, and conviction that looking patienly is still worth the trouble.
