Marguo is pleased to present a film in which Alexandre Yang walks through ‘(Nice Dream)’, his debut solo exhibition in Paris, on view from 17 September to 21 November 2026.
Following a profound personal loss and a period of near-monastic seclusion, Yang reimagines the medieval epic from within, its knights, quests and endless winters becoming the language through which he gives form to grief and isolation. He and those closest to him appear as tender, imperfect figures, their stories drawn through Old Master compositions and recast as something intimate and contemporary.
