Inspired by «Der Busant», a medieval German poem telling of the impossible love and separation between the Princess of France and the Prince of England. Fleeing to live out their love, the prince becomes lost in the forest for a year, going mad and living as a wild man before reuniting with the princess. Yang recasts each of them as a protagonist: his partner as the princess, himself as the lost prince.
